Our management staff will take the time to get to know you, discuss with you the selection of a schedule from a variety of options, based on client needs, and will support and encourage you in meeting and maintaining your professional goals.  NOWtranscription is steadily growing and will be providing many opportunities for growth, including QA, Editor, Mentor, Lead Transcriptionist, SWAT MT, and Supervisory positions.

 

Work Flow Assignment

We believe that one of the most important keys to being a successful and profitable transcriptionist is a small dictator to MT ratio, allowing you to focus on becoming a specialist for the handful of dictators that we assign to you .  We make it a goal to ensure that you are not working in a giant pool of dictators but are allowed to focus on a small doctor to MT ratio (this is a benefit many transcriptionists have never experienced). 

 

Technology

Our ASP provider is continually on the cutting edge of technology and we are working to interface our clients whenever possible to minimize your need for demographic searches.  When interfacing is not yet an option, we will strive to make sure the information you need is only keystrokes away.  We provider a user-friendly, word-based platform to help maximize and track your productivity, as well as QA feedback.  Our ASP is compatible with many expansion programs, and also allows for direct upload and conversion of AutoText and Autocorrect lists. 

 

E&O Insurance

Did you know that as an Independent Contractor, you should carry an Errors and Omissions Insurance policy?  To ensure protection for both you and NOWtranscription all of those who work with and contract for us are offered the ability to be added to our Errors and Omissions Insurance policy for a minimal fee of $10.00 per two week pay period (minimum individual policies tend to run upwards of $2,500 to $3,000 a year).  If you elect to decline that option you will need to show proof that you are covered under your own policy. 

 

We currently offer Independent Contractor status positions only, but are quickly moving toward creating an employee environment for our MTs.  We require a minimum two years of experience in medical transcription before we will consider your resume.
